# LimoVibes time zone data

Contains information from [timezone-boundary-builder, release 2026d](https://github.com/evansiroky/timezone-boundary-builder/releases/tag/2026d), made available under the [Open Database License (ODbL) 1.0](LICENSE-ODbL-1.0.txt). The boundary data is derived from [OpenStreetMap data © OpenStreetMap contributors](https://www.openstreetmap.org/copyright).

LimoVibes' canonical-point time zone map in this directory is available under ODbL 1.0. Download the [manifest](manifest.json) and the sixteen JSON files it names (`0.json` through `f.json`) for the complete machine-readable derived database. Each record contains a canonical location's point fingerprint and an index into the manifest's IANA time zone list. These files contain public geography identifiers and fingerprints, not customer addresses or quote details. No account or payment is required to download them.

The map was generated using [node-geo-tz 8.1.9](https://github.com/evansiroky/node-geo-tz/tree/v8.1.9), whose code uses the [MIT license](LICENSE-geo-tz-MIT.txt). This build tool is not required by the live website. The manifest identifies the boundary source, build version, canonical geography dataset and checksums.

A result is the time zone at the canonical area's representative point, or an airport's reference point. It does not establish that every address in a city, county, ZIP area or state uses the same time zone. Locations near boundaries can observe a different local convention. The form carries the browsing location automatically; the trip date and time are interpreted in the displayed location's time zone. A provider should confirm the actual trip details before booking.

The source boundary release and the server's time zone rules are separately versioned: geographic boundaries identify the IANA zone, and PHP's time zone database supplies offsets and daylight-saving transitions for the requested date. The data is provided without a guarantee of accuracy; see the included licenses.
